Annual Gving Tree

Annual Giving Tree - 2014

We know that it is early to think about the holiday season, but for those of us getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving with all its bounty, there are those who are not as lucky as some.

For the past 13 years during the holiday season, the Y has been reaching out to YMCA youth & teens whose families are in need! Each year the need increases and this year there are more than 400 families who qualify to participate in this program.

The families who participate in our Giving Tree Project are YMCA members who are having financial difficulties & find that the holidays creates even more of a financial strain.

Watch the lobby in the coming weeks for our Giving Tree Project tree and flyers and consider selecting an ornament (or two) for a child . With your help these children and their families will have a brighter and more joyous Christmas morning.

With YMCA Youth Sports (Basketball, Soccer, T-Ball and Track & Field), our goal is to make sure kids excel at that other game we're all familiar with - the game of life. So we teach kids to become not only better players, but better people.

See flyer for dates and times.
